ULTRAFILTERATION MODULE About

Ultrafiltration (UF) membrane is a pressure-driven membrane filtration technology used to separate suspended solids, colloids, bacteria, viruses, and high-molecular-weight organic substances from water. UF membranes typically have pore sizes in the range of approximately 0.010.1 m and operate at relatively low transmembrane pressures.

Typical membrane materials:

Operating principle: Feed water is passed across or through the membrane under pressure. Water and dissolved low-molecular-weight substances pass through the membrane as permeate, while larger contaminants are retained as reject/concentrate.
